Meet Dr. Chae

There are many clinical reasons for needing root canal treatment, but there are also countless practical reasons why saving the natural tooth is a wise choice. Endodontic treatment with Dr. Youngsook Chae helps you maintain your natural smile, continue eating the foods you love, and limit the need for ongoing dental work. With proper care, most teeth that have had root canal treatment can last a lifetime.

Dr. Chae's dedication to positive treatment outcomes begins with her dedication to building genuine relationships with her patients. She thoroughly enjoys when patients feel comfortable enough with her to share their life stories and achievements. She equally appreciates when patients listen while she presents them with various treatment plan options, allowing her to work with her patients for their dental health. She finds great reward in saving teeth through root canal treatment.

Dr. Chae earned her Bachelors of Science in Biochemical Pharmacology (Summa Cum Laude) at State University of New York in Buffalo, New York. She then pursued her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. She completed her residency training in the Department of Endodontology at the Temple University of Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Chae currently resides in Baltimore, where she enjoys practicing yoga and walking the inner harbor.
